I just wanted to share my thoughts. With titles like Batman: Arkham Knight, it's clear some major studios still rely on consoles as their main focus. In my view, PC gaming should expand even more, becoming more user-friendly like consoles. While PC is the better platform, it can feel quite complex. With tools like Windows 10 Dx12 and similar features, do you think PC will become simpler and more accessible? I really hope developers would pay more attention to PC, as it's a massive market. I used to play on consoles, switched to a decent PC, and noticed the difference is significant. However, I learned that achieving the best experience often requires learning a lot, adjusting settings, and spending time in research. Consoles let you just plug and play. I’m hoping games on PC will start to offer that ease in the future. Platforms like SteamOS and a nice UI such as Steam Big Picture could make a big difference. That’s my perspective. What do you all think?

The future remains uncertain, making it hard to predict what will happen. We should focus on experiencing it as it unfolds.

Steam boxes function similarly to standard consoles, making it easy to concentrate on adapting titles for Linux.

You're correct, but I need to share my thoughts from playing PC games. Based on my experience, I believe performance and gameplay balance are key factors.

A major shift across the sector would be necessary, requiring a collective transformation in perspective rather than changes limited to a single organization or a few.

Certainly, PC performance will keep advancing. Technology in hardware is progressing steadily, making entry costs lower over time. More creators are entering the PC gaming space. Even if PC gaming faces challenges, it still offers the broadest and most varied game collection. Users can keep enhancing their systems and fully enjoy current titles. The notion that PC gaming won’t improve is unrealistic—and that’s a positive outcome.

This topic covers gaming across all platforms—mobile, tablet, console, and PC—and it’s continuously improving. It seems your question might have been misphrased; you were likely asking about gaming in general rather than just PC. The clear point is that innovation emerges organically in this space.

I hope games become easier to set up by automatically recognizing your hardware and adjusting graphics settings correctly. Right now, many titles don’t auto-detect my system properly, forcing manual changes. That’s fine for me, but I’d like a solution that lets non-experts enjoy PC gaming without getting stuck. An options menu would help those who know how, while it shouldn’t be mandatory since most people aren’t familiar with all the technical details.

I won't cast my vote since this has always been the case. A handful of games (rarely) aren't available on PC at all or have a poor port. The majority of titles that run on PC are significantly superior to those that are only available there.
