Do not start the operating system after relocating.
I figured it out now. My boot drive was using a SATA SSD and the cable wasn’t connecting properly. That’s why the M.2 worked. Thanks for your support! I’m having trouble getting my PC to start up into the OS. After moving into a new house, I plugged in and saw it boot initially. There were two case fans, so I swapped them out before finishing the setup. Once done, the system would load from the M.2 drive. I don’t know why it won’t load properly—it shows up as the boot drive but doesn’t recognize anything else.
Have you attempted to remove the drive while the computer was powered down and then reinstalled it?
It seems the device likely slipped out during relocation, much like my experience where half of my RAM displayed as "system reserved" after moving my PC downstairs. The RAM didn’t install properly.
I attempted to shift it several times but the other M.2 slot didn't work.
Sure, I can attempt to boot from a Linux USB stick and check for accessible files.
