I made a huge mistake and lost track of how to fix it. I changed BIOS settings and tried fast boot, which blocked USB and other devices. Then I switched the main boot to UEFI and disabled extra options. Now the PC starts with "insert proper boot media..." but I can't change it or press enter—it keeps showing the same message because the keyboard isn't working. Anyone have ideas on how to access BIOS right now?

Turn off all devices with bootable capabilities, which will allow access to BIOS while it looks for a boot method. Alternatively, reset the BIOS settings on the motherboard.

turn off the PC, disconnect the power supply, and press the two pins marked JBAT1 on the motherboard together with a screwdriver for roughly ten seconds. That’s the method I follow at least. If you’re unsure, refer to your motherboard manual.

You can activate BIOS to resolve issues like not recognizing USB devices.
