I just purchased an Xbox controller and wanted to know if it would charge when plugged in before shutting down for the night. Will the PC need to be running or connected to power? I checked the BIOS, but there doesn’t seem to be a toggle for this device. There’s a USB section, but it doesn’t mention passing through power, so I’m unsure if it will charge. I might try using my phone since it has a charging port but is a C-type. Lol

It should power on when connected to a charger, unless the USB ports are disabled via Power Management settings.

Thanks, yeh. I looked through it and nothing made sense, and I've been saving about bios for like ten years now. Lol
