Your voltage is too high, which could cause damage.
Silicon lottery bins processors and offers better models at a higher price.
Their top binned chip operates at 5.1 with a voltage of 1.312. Just 11% of tested chips match this spec.

I strongly advise keeping below 1.4v.
After all, the 9900K is powerful; do you really need a few extra boosts?

5.2GHz works well, but running it at 1.5v puts a strain on the CPU...

The maximum safe voltage is a question to be answered.

There are things up to 1.4v, but I usually stop around 1.35v... Most folks suggest keeping under 1.4v. For my 4.9GHz frequency, I'm at 1.278v...

how are you checking for stability? running tests without stability checks doesn't make sense

Hello, I'm checking how much further overclocking is possible with my 9900k.
Current setup: Z390 MSI Gaming Edge AC Micro ATX, EVGA Supernova 650 G2 80+, Thermaltake C5 Untouchable CPU cooler.
I've already reached 5.2ghz at 1.5 volts.
I'm worried it might cause a black burnt chip or a red one soon.
