Do I need more PSU ?
I just installed a fifth monitor into my system. As a beginner with PCs, I'm hoping for some advice on the power supply and cooling to avoid damaging any components or affecting audio quality. The GPU setup includes two RX580 cards to run the monitors. The PSU is a Corsair RM750 W ATX 80 Plus Gold. The motherboard is MicrostarZ370-A Pro, with an Intel Core i7-8700 CPU, 32GB RAM. The monitors are two Samsung Lu28r550 units at 28 inches and 4K resolution, plus three LG 32UN880-B models at 32 inches and 4K. I use this setup for trading, so I'm not running high-end 4K games, but I do have multiple charts updating frequently. I believe performance reports or tests would help assess how everything is performing, and let me know if you can provide any details or additional information. Thank you!
You can always use the PC part picker to check estimated wattages. It's also simple to connect your KILOWatt meter and see how much it draws.
Since you're not gaming, their video cards shouldn't be drawing a lot of power.
Monitors draw power externally, not through your power supply.
Rock on, no problems here.
