But you don't need to buy a hard drive that is only 120 GB big anymore. That size isn't enough for what we have today.

So should I try making my computer faster by overclocking the RAM, adding a fast SSD and running Windows and games only on that drive, or is it better just to upgrade the memory from 8GB to 16GB using an old hard disk instead?

I just want a smooth frame rate, which is already around 50 to 60. The real problems are stuttering and frame drops.

You need a lot more RAM because you can't make it work faster right now, and having only eight gigabytes isn't enough for what you want to do.

But won't an SSD stop the slow feeling? Things aren't loading fast right now.

Everyone here wants an SSD but others want RAM. I just need a quick fix for my lag on the PC while playing PUBG.

I need a quick and clear answer so I can move forward easily. I just need an 8 to 16 GB of RAM or a fast solid-state drive (SSD) right now because I'll upgrade that later when I have the money. Thanks so much!

You really need both of these things. First, get some RAM - specifically a 2x8GB stick that runs at 3200MHz speed.

If you have more money later on, buy a good graphics card. PUBG needs at least a GTX 960. The link below shows the official requirements: https://support.pubg.com/hc/en-us/articl...-play-PUBG You are only using Vega 8, and that is not great for PUBG. Here is a comparison between GTX 960 and Vega 8: https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nv...5vsm441833
