Wireless LAN adapter Local Area Connection* 12:
Needs removal, deactivation or deletion.
Many prefer sharing pci lanes with usb and ethernet, which raises irq priority on the wireless link, causing the wired connection to experience delays.

Hey thank you... up until now I've only used a USB dongle, but now I'm on Ethernet. Just checked the bottom right corner—this works fine. The PCI or PCI-E card I ordered is actually wired, not wireless. Maybe I'm still using an older setup. I like a stable connection and haven't used any Wi-Fi PCI devices before. It's possible I'm not activating the IRQ you mentioned. Also, the Ethernet card is being shipped from China across the Philippine sea, which could add 2 to 5 extra days.

No worries, I just observed this with many Windows and Wi-Fi setups. If you're not using Wi-Fi, the system keeps using its resources for it, and the wired connection also gets affected.

Linux doesn't face this problem because the operating part is designed well.

I'm also a Linux enthusiast, but every game I try to install brings up new challenges... so for simplicity, I just chose F and installed Windows 10, avoiding any headaches in life.

got the ethernet card in hand—it seems to work. I'm planning to do some heavy downloading.
