Just checking, my MSI Pulse only reaches up to x8, which is fine—definitely enough for Warzone.

Without checking the specifics, I am very likely to believe the GPU in your laptop is already being affected because it isn't the desktop model. I haven't looked into whether anyone tested it with PCIe 5 and a 5090, but after the 4090 was released there were many tests comparing PCIE types and lane counts. The main finding was that even a 4090 required no more than 8 lanes of PCIe 4.0. I haven't seen a laptop with a real 4090 or 5090, so it probably isn't a problem. There could be some laptops with 16 lanes, but that wouldn't really matter since both the CPU and GPU support it. It would just depend on adding a few more pins between the CPU and GPU dies.

The purpose of this inquiry is to prevent bifurcation, ensuring the same performance as my older laptop. The newer model has dual drives compared to the single drive in the older one, and it operates much faster. This decision is unrelated to the applications or software installed on either device, as the Stealth remains quicker than the Pulse.
