Do any extended-range Bluetooth USB devices work with Dualshock 4?
Oriko Bluetooth 4.0 works well in this setup, but when connecting to a TV through a PC in another room via HDMI, it drops unexpectedly. The short distance of about 4 meters isn't enough—signal obstruction by the wall and longer alternative paths are likely causing the issue.
It's important to recognize that signal quality drops when walls or hollow partitions affect it. We'll need a house floor plan to assess your setup and determine if additional investment resolves the problem. Also, a long USB cable doesn't significantly reduce latency. It might be worth checking your USB/chipset drivers and ensuring your PC's BIOS and OS are up to date.
Have you thought about using a dongle connected via a USB extension cable through the same port? I paired the DualShock 3 with an ASUS Bluetooth dongle, programmed it to connect with SCP toolkit, and then used a 6' USB cable in a similar setup. It functioned effectively up to about 18 feet, provided a clear line of sight to the dongle.
Hello. Below is the floor plan arrangement of these rooms.

Bluetooth drivers for this dongle are provided by
Cambridge Silicon Radio Ltd.
No significant updates are needed on PC or Windows 10.
I haven't checked yet, but this could be useful. A 1.5 meter / 5 feet long USB extension cable will allow the dongle to reach across the wall, and latency should be minimal in that scenario.
