I'm checking around for new market insights and alternatives that match my needs. Asrock offers a few boards, and their BIOS info suggests (FULL) ECC Unbuffered DDR5 might be possible, though not fully supported. Here are some links: A points to the X670E Taichi index, B to the PG Lightning index. MSI appears to have limited documentation on their BIOS menus, which is frustrating. Their boards seem adaptable, rerouting PCIe channels to handle varied workloads—like adding fast NVMe drives over time or pairing quick OS mirrors with slower storage. C and D provide specifications, with D leaning toward the higher-end Asrock board if it supports full ECC. I’m hoping someone can confirm if ECC is available in BIOS for both brands, even without testing.
