Recently I've observed that while browsing various online videos on multiple devices, the apps I launch sometimes freeze for a while (I can't tab into them and the currently displayed app doesn't respond). However, the audio continues to play, and the video remains synchronized with the sound. This issue only affects non-Windows 11 applications. The Windows menu and other programs like Task Manager and File Explorer function normally. I also don't experience problems with gaming, even with more demanding games. About two months ago, the system had a format change, and I use it regularly. Occasionally, freezes occur when no video is playing, but I can switch between apps without issues. There seems to be a potential fix available, though it's a bit frustrating. Additionally, I haven't made any changes to my system recently, and this wasn't the case before.

Verify if the operating system requires an update. Then attempt to execute SFC; https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/...-t...ft-windows and assess the outcome.

So there are no window update notifications, and I've confirmed the official site. I currently have the latest Windows 11 version installed. SFC detected some damaged files, but we'll check if the problem continues. Proceeding with a reboot now.

Also check Reliability History/Monitor and Event Viewer.
Both tools might record error codes, warnings, or other events shortly before or during the freezes.

I experienced brief freezes that lasted under a second, but there are no entries in the event viewer or reliability history. It doesn’t seem like an issue with Windows, though I’m not entirely confident.

I completed the scan, and generally there are no freezes, though occasionally a brief one occurs, making it hard to verify if other applications freeze as well. Any other advice?
