If your ISP restricts DNS, you’re limited to managing each device manually. Still, CloudFront works well. OpenDNS offers flexibility in selection and blocking by network type. The choice depends on your needs and the level of control you require.

It would be helpful to have a Pi-hole installed, perhaps on a Raspberry Pi. You might also consider running it inside a virtual machine on your local machine without needing extra hardware.

I can modify my DNS settings. The issue with my router is that it combines a fiber modem, router, switch, and AP into one device, and the firmware is locked, preventing me from using open-source firmware or plugins. I plan to try openDNS.
