My gf’s computer has not got cables internet yet but she has a wireless card the “D-Link dwa-582” but it has some issues or something, the internet is suddenly disconnected and it says the internet is hidden when I try to reconnect, it ha said that it is dns issues. I tried the reset button on the router and it worked for a day, now every time I am here I have to do that every morning until today where whatever I do it stops working after 5 min. Sorry for bad English so hope it makes sense to you, thanks in advance<3 edit: everything else in the house works and I’m pretty sure it ain’t a range problem because her Samsung tv is further away and streams 4k Edited September 14, 2019 by Valid_Hensel

If the problem keeps getting worse, it might mean your device is failing. There could also be too much wireless noise at the same frequency causing connection problems. You can use a Wi-Fi analyzer to see how crowded the channel is and pick the least used one. If hardware issues are likely, you may need to replace it since it seems to fail more often.

I planned to have her use my wireless card to test if it helped, but I missed it and can't check for a week.

Checking if the cable issue will persist this week until you resolve it.

I've encountered the same issue with this Wi-Fi adapter model. It frequently crashes when network-intensive sites like YouTube or speed test tools are accessed. Switching between IEEE 802.11n and 802.11g causes stability problems—stable on one, unstable under load when switching back to n. Even after reinstalling drivers, the problem persists. Removing one of the dual antennas resolved it, which is unusual but effective.
