they didn't have the one i want in the list, but the price is similar...I was thinking of a Dell S2722DGM 27in, 2560x1440
and 165Hz refresh rate.

Playing mostly open world RPGs, MMOs and occasionally FPS games.
And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading:
my 7 years old Asus ROG laptop with a 980M has served me well, after replacing the thermal paste and reviving it for three more years, it's finally time to let it rest.
I'd like to know if there's a way to go cheaper without affecting the overall performance too much...

Looks good to me. I’d prefer a smaller SSD capacity for storage—like a 500GB drive for the OS, apps, and launchers—and keep the other SSD larger for the game library. Will the EVGA unit be replaced from your previous build? So, just an update, I've edited the first post with a new list, after making sure everything is available here in Japan....now, the problem is that the prices here are pretty high for pc parts.
If you have any suggestions on how to tweak this build a little bit to reduce the final cost (now around 3500$)
without affecting performance too much, i'd greatly appreciate it!
