Division - Le Jeu Simulateur 2016
Joined the Division this afternoon and experienced quite the setup. The main tutorial in The Division asks you to use a computer to complete your character creation. It’s frustrating that Ubisoft didn’t isolate this from the rest of the game and only allows one person to work on it at once. Logged out quickly, planning another try after work. Expect things to slow down around 3 a.m.
HAHAHA this is fantastic. 0 thought was obviously put into this. Typical ubisoft.
I don't understand the excitement around this game any more. It's another online-only DRM system, so you won't be able to play it in a few years. Plus, it's just another open-world Ubisoft title. We've had enough of these to last a decade now.
I've been craving a loot shooter lately, haven't played one since Borderlands 2—probably because the prequel dropped too soon. Since then, I haven't purchased anything from Ubisoft beyond FarCry Blood Dragon, so I'm not feeling overwhelmed by their open-world features. A few friends got codes after buying new graphics cards, and I'm excited to try some co-op this weekend or next.
I just logged off and back on, ended up in a server with only a handful of players and the activation went smoothly—about 40 seconds. With people blocking the entrances and exits of hubs and safe houses, I think they're preventing collisions there.
All my knowledge about this game comes from Borderlands in the US, but I really disliked it.
