Long ago I shared a video showing a hacker causing chaos without being seen, but at the time it was dismissed as a simple glitch. Now it seems someone else is taking credit for it. Important sources: http://www.dsogaming.com/news/tom-clancy...en-hacked/ http://www.pcgamesn.com/the-division/the...in-pc-beta http://segmentnext.com/2016/02/01/the-di...d-and-more. Even German players are referencing my video! In today's world it's shocking when a game gets hacked so quickly—back then Call of Duty lasted longer.

I was excited about The Division, but it seems the experience might become monotonous, just another gear-focused grind. Ubisoft keeps releasing games that feel uninspired, and I was hoping this would change their approach.

I handed my Uplay account to a friend who told me there are many hackers in the game right away this morning. A few hours later he called and said he somehow stays untouchable/invisible, which makes sense since I know people can misuse cheats. One of them shared a video about a speedhack that seemed to just make things move faster.

I anticipated finding more emotional reactions, unfair tactics, and technical flaws—even something shared two years prior. This time, it delivered exactly what I hoped for. In its current (beta) phase, there are no anti-cheat measures in place; extending Ubi’s work now should improve the experience moving forward. You can be confident, Ubi is aware. Some time ago, I posted a discussion about their analysis tools. They began monitoring player actions in games like Assassin's Creed, providing detailed data on routes taken and time spent on each level. Back then, I recall there were alternative paths that players missed, leading them into traps—graphs illustrated these choices. I suspect they now have even richer statistics, similar to tracking civilian and dog movements across platforms. Ubi will address this to prevent interference with DLC sales, making cheating harder compared to other shooters. While publishers often share blame, the reality is that a significant portion of players engage in dishonest behavior. There are dedicated sites offering verified cheats to boost revenue. During my beta experience, I witnessed inventive tactics and strong dedication to disrupting others, especially solo players. I also played CS and other shooters for years, but online manners have vanished. The focus has shifted heavily toward blocking or exploiting grief, requiring a specialized group to balance fairness. With Division, it began as non-cheating exploitation of the game’s experimental stage. Shortly after, I noticed clear signs of hacking—direct fire from above and invisible abilities spreading. Even now, I occasionally play just to see if someone breaks the system. There are still many improvements to make before committing, but the project holds a lot of promise. It demands substantial effort; building the foundation alone is exhausting, and many features missing in beta need refinement. The game has been evolving for some time, yet it remains uncertain whether it will reach the scale and depth of Witcher 3. Still, its potential is undeniable if it can overcome these challenges.

It's still early, but they skipped the anti-cheat feature. I'm sure it'll be added later.

I've encountered numerous hackers too, including those skilled in speed hacks and individuals capable of eliminating everyone on the server from afar. Do they really have anti-cheat measures in place?

Sure thing! It's great to know it's still in beta instead of being fully released yet.
