I require some assistance; I'm uncertain about an issue I’m experiencing. I invested approximately 1700 euros in my custom-built PC. It includes a GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition and an AMD Ryzen 1600 with 16GB of RAM. The chassis is a Chroma Trident X. While I'm not particularly knowledgeable about hardware specifications, the problem lies with the frame rates – I anticipated consistently exceeding 120 fps in games such as League of Legends, Fortnite, PUBG, and other titles. I haven’t yet activated Windows, and I suspect this might be contributing to the issue. Furthermore, I utilize Driver Booster for all updates.
A monitor with a 60Hz refresh rate will only display frames at 60fps.
I believe my computer should achieve more than 120 frames per second consistently. Why do you assume something like that is possible?! Your processor operates at 3.2 and a maximum of 3.6 GHz, which makes it incredibly unlikely to provide over 120 FPS continuously.
