No one has modified an Aquacomputer cuplex HD to LGA1700 yet. You're considering adding an older cuplex HD to your new setup with an i5-12600kf and a cooler. It's worth checking if it fits and improves performance, but also think about whether upgrading the cooler is more important than swapping the CPU socket.
if its an old block that dose not have mounts for x socket and there enough meat on it to drill new holes. as for mounting i dont no there probably a spring that works with the flat hole to add tension to it but not too much. i thin these mounts dont use a stopper but i guess you could make one posably.
