It seems the temperatures you mentioned aren't typical for that setup. The 5800x3D runs best between 40-50°C, but its highest recorded was 84°C. You haven’t played any games yet and haven’t had much time to test it.

My experience has been smooth. Cinebench feels like a 'poor fit,' and it's unlikely you'll hit 84c while playing normally, even though that speed is still okay.

It varies with the cooler you choose; the temperature stays similar during my runs. Idle temps are in the low 40s to 50s, while the Cinebench 82C reaches about 82°C. I only use an Evo Air cooler.

Sure, I noticed something might be off. I was told on the forum it's too heavy for my CPU, but I'm not sure what to do.

You checked the expected temperatures for the 360 AIO and confirmed the typical CPU ranges. You also verified the normal temperature values beforehand.

The additional cache layer complicates heat dissipation, which is why manual voltage and clock adjustments are turned off in the BIOS. On certain motherboards you can set a negative PBO voltage value, and using high-quality thermal paste helped reduce temperatures by a few degrees in Cinebench. You might want to verify if your board supports this, though the effect would likely be only a couple of degrees. It can also provide a slight increase in game frequency.

I’d hope for a bit more from that unit, but it’s giving me the same readings as my basic 212 Evo. Just try reapplying with quality paste and reseating the block.

I just noticed that too—I was typing when I saw the update alert... lol, honestly, such a high temperature matching my EVO’s should only happen if he’s running Cinebench for a long time, letting the water fully circulate.
