Displaying various memory rates Presenting multiple memory speeds Showing different data transfer rates
I added a RAM module to my computer and looked up its speed. I checked the forum, used the Task Manager and the app CPU-Z, but the numbers didn’t match. I have one 4GB DDR4 RAM stick installed.
your ram operates at 2133MHz well, but the actual frequency is closer to 1067 due to ddr technology, which sends data during both rising and falling edges of a clock cycle. this effectively doubles the speed even though the rated speed is 2400MHz. you may need to turn on xmp/docp in bios or manually adjust it to 2400MHz.
You need to enable it in the BIOS settings, which will display various profiles.
Activate the XMP profile in your BIOS settings. This will configure the processor speed to 2400 MHz (1200MHz).
