I've just completed my latest setup and noticed some unusual issues with my RTX 4070 FE. My monitor runs at 60Hz and only uses HDMI, which is the current configuration. When I raise the framerate beyond 60FPS in games, it produces a high-pitched whine. Is this a problem with the card itself? Should I consider returning it? Could my monitor be stressing the graphics card? My monitor also tears at higher refresh rates, and it’s a POS model. Userbenchmark suggested the card might be underperforming slightly, but I’m not sure about their measurements. Additionally, I’m using the dual 8-pin PCIe to 12VHPWR connection—could that be contributing to the issue? I might just be being too cautious, but any advice would be appreciated.
