Displaying two distinct CPU models in a system.
So, seems like something is not quiet right here. The 2637 v2 should be the correct model, as it is a 4c8t cpu...
They both have inaccuracies. The 2637 v2 is actually a 4C/8T processor. The Task Manager lists it as an 8C/16T CPU. The 2643 v2 is a 6C/12T CPU, and CPU-Z shows it as 4C/8T. I've noticed this before. Updated the CPU-Z settings. It seems the tool combines the cores of both CPUs, but defaults to assuming an 8-core configuration for the 2643.
It's strange, isn't it? You might consider sending it to the CPU-Z team here: https://www.cpuid.com/contact.html. They could provide a clear explanation. It would be pretty neat to learn something like that.
For scientific reasons, I emailed them. If they respond, I’ll make sure to mention it here.
