They both have inaccuracies. The 2637 v2 is actually a 4C/8T processor. The Task Manager lists it as an 8C/16T CPU. The 2643 v2 is a 6C/12T CPU, and CPU-Z shows it as 4C/8T. I've noticed this before. Updated the CPU-Z settings. It seems the tool combines the cores of both CPUs, but defaults to assuming an 8-core configuration for the 2643.

The latest Windows update is all new. It doesn’t really concern me too much—it just feels a bit strange.

It's strange, isn't it? You might consider sending it to the CPU-Z team here: https://www.cpuid.com/contact.html. They could provide a clear explanation. It would be pretty neat to learn something like that.

For scientific reasons, I emailed them. If they respond, I’ll make sure to mention it here.

As a side note, I came across two 2643 v2 on eBay for $60 each, so I might be upgrading to them eventually. Edit: Perhaps CPUz was trying to persuade me to do so.

From what I can tell, the badges you mentioned are related to F@H, and it seems this server has been closing for Linusteam today.

Great news! We're always excited about getting more folding power. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at the annual folding event on the forum next year!

The process allows several servers to be linked to one account. It’s not limited to individual systems but can span across multiple racks.
