I’m seeking the most effective method for displaying my computer screen on another device. I presently utilize a personal computer primarily for gaming and a tablet for general mobile tasks within my home.

I’m hoping to shift away from relying on the desktop PC for gaming and have experimented with the Steam Link application, but it consistently exhibits noticeable delays and sluggish input responsiveness.

Are there any external software solutions—essentially “video transmitters”—that could provide a superior experience?

Furthermore, I'm contemplating purchasing a Surface Pro 7 as an alternative to my current tablet, as I favor the Windows operating system over Chrome OS, particularly regarding compatibility with various programs.

Would you still be using a controller linked to your primary computer?!?! It’s recommended that you begin by enhancing your home’s Wi-Fi; a more robust network within your house will significantly reduce latency.
