When I power off my computer, I receive the warning “The instruction at 0x00007FFC6DE43ACA referenced memory at 0x0000000000000024. The memory could not be written.” This only appears when I shut down. Sometimes I also face problems when I restart, and everything feels slow and unresponsive until I reboot a few times. I’ve fully reinstalled Windows, applied all the latest updates and drivers, runmed a memory checker with no errors, and verified there were no registry issues. My system runs Windows 11 on a 7800x3d machine with an ASUS TUF 4090, 4TB NVMe 32GB DDR5 RAM from Corsair.

Occasionally this occurs during a quick shutdown when using an NVMe drive with Windows 11. The process doesn’t allow enough time for the system to properly close, resulting in this alert. Does this happen every time you shut down or at random?

Occasionally it occurs, yet it usually happens often. What are your ideas about those slow startup phases that require a full restart?

Check your RAM condition and confirm it's not related to software since you performed a full reinstall. If that's resolved, the next likely issue lies with your storage device. What brand and model are you using for the 4TB NVMe drive, and does it serve as your sole storage option?

The storage devices typically perform well, but what software were you running during the test?
