Displaying error codes on a laptop when connected and under stress
What's your age? Do you still have the warranty? Have you tried using a different charger? I usually get several chargers with varying power outputs for my laptops. What is the wattage of yours?
It's now four years since it was made, and I've only used the original 135W charger included. I haven't experimented with other chargers yet.
does it work normally? it only stops when connected to a charger, not when the battery is used. it seems like the charger or the power control circuits might be the issue. the simplest fix would be swapping out the charger and seeing if that helps. these parts are usually available at local PC or electronics shops. you could bring your laptop there for testing without buying it. if the problem persists, it likely depends on how the laptop is built—some have removable power boards that can be replaced, while others are permanently attached to the mainboard and require more advanced repair skills. a nearby electronics repair shop would probably be the best option.
It continues to work as expected. I'll probably check using another charger first to confirm the fix.
