Hello, I just assembled a new PC with a Ryzen 7 7800X3D MSi B650 Gaming Plus Dark Rock Pro 4 RTX 4080, 2*16 GB Corsair Vengeance 6000 MHz CL 30 980 PRO 2 TB Thermaltake TOUGHPOWER GF3 850 W 80+ Gold Lian Li Lancool 216 BIOS. I’ve successfully installed Windows 11 and everything is working fine except for an unusual problem. When I press the power button, the PC boots but no screen appears. On either of my two monitors, a display only appears after a reset. It functions in Windows with a reboot option, but shutting down ends it completely—no display on the next start-up. I’ve adjusted power settings like EERP without success. A clean CMOS didn’t resolve it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Edited December 1, 2023 – SephiRock

This motherboard isn’t powering on properly. I experienced the same issue before. It would boot up and produce a clear beep, then sit idle until I pressed the reset button. After that, everything worked fine. You might want to check for BIOS updates to see if they resolve the problem. It seems like a hardware fix may be necessary unless you replace the card.

Another point I overlooked is that the situation feels a bit disjointed. After turning on ErP, I was able to start the PC with a screen several times in a row. Yet suddenly it crashed again. That’s quite puzzling. Awh, that’s understandable. Should I revert to an older version or simply reinstall the same one? Since I already updated it myself, I’m not sure it was acting differently before. Maybe this is just a coincidence.

It looks like the adjustment resolved the problem! I lowered one version to 1.30 and it’s functioning perfectly now. No issues since Saturday. Thanks!
