Hi, I'm experiencing a display problem with my MSI GFX 75 in a 9-inch 11th generation laptop. The screen sometimes flickers green when pausing videos on YouTube or scrolling, and it also flickers in apps like Google and Steam. A few weeks back, my sister dropped the laptop on the floor near the screen, causing it to shut abruptly. I updated my graphics drivers and switched the preferred GPU in Chrome via NVIDIA Control Panel, but the issue persists. My system specs are: Windows 11 Pro, 64-bit CPU, 16GB RAM, Intel UHD Graphics, and a GTX 1660 Ti GPU.

Hey there! It looks like your display cable might be damaged or disconnected, likely from the fall. The issue could be on either the screen side or the motherboard. If the screen itself shows no visible damage, it’s best to bring it to a technician and explain that the internal display cable needs attention (unless you’re comfortable fixing it yourself, which can be quite challenging for beginners).

I own various token-based laptops and have made some upgrades, so I believe I can handle this.

Next, I'd inspect the cable.
