I’ve experienced repeated black screen episodes lasting just a few seconds, occasionally every few hours or multiple times per minute. I suspect it might be related to HDR settings on LG TVs, so I disabled them in Windows. They still occur, though less frequently now. I haven’t found any Event logs to investigate further, and most forum discussions don’t seem relevant. AMD threads from two years ago mention similar issues, but the advice hasn’t helped much. I’m using Windows 11 64-bit, Asus TUF Gaming B450M-Plus II with Ryzen 5 3600, Corsair Vengeance 3000Mhz 8GB x2 (XMP 2.0), XFX RX 6700 XT, Crucial P3 M.2 500GB, and a WD Green 2TB HDD with 650W PSU. Any guidance to resolve or diagnose the problem would be greatly appreciated.

Have you considered updating your display driver in Windows? You might try using DDU to reinstall it.

I previously updated Adrenaline and attempted to fix the issue again. I just purchased a monitor for my workbench above for streaming microsoldering repairs, hoping to check if the large TV might be the problem soon. I’m looking for a dependable trigger before using it as a test.

Check your SSD's condition with CrystalDiskInfo if needed. I encountered several faulty Crucial P3 drives and have stopped using them. If you have another SSD available, consider testing it as a boot drive.

Interestingly, I verified this on Windows before, showing a health score of 94%.

I know the feeling. But in case you want to follow my reasoning : I read your description of the issue and checked the list of your hardware. Unless there is a hidden fault in one component, all of them should work ok as a whole computer. Since I did not find an obvious source for the issue, I checked again every component and identified which is the most likely to cause an issue by itself. I know a SSD is not the prime suspect for video problems but it still makes sense that the highest point of failure is the most likely to cause the issue. Maybe the video drivers are located in a failing sector of the SSD or something similar. The next suspect should be the PSU in my opinion (because power supplies have a finite lifespan), then the rest of the computer in no particular order. Hope that helps

Thank you for the update. I’m focusing more on the TV side now, though. There was a time when my PS3 didn’t always show 100% on certain games, especially since it was jailbroken. That made troubleshooting difficult, but it seems to have resolved. I also learned that LG displays often cause issues with HDR and failing HDMI ports, which might explain the problem even after changing cables. I’m planning to test it on a different monitor and see if the issue persists. I’ll follow up tomorrow with my findings.

So here’s an updated version of your situation. There’s more evidence suggesting the TV itself might be the issue. My computer is running two operating systems—Windows 11 with a specific M.2 slot and a fresh Windows 10 install dedicated to streaming and recording my workbench. Yesterday, Windows 10 updated and claimed ownership of my games drive (HDD), which erased all connections between that drive and Windows 11. Since then, I’ve had to completely wipe both the M.2 slot and the HDD to ensure no lingering links remain. Right now, I’m downloading all my games from Game Pass and Steam. I haven’t installed any GPU drivers yet, sticking with generic Windows 11 drivers. The display still shows problems at various refresh rates. I’ve lowered the monitor since then, and currently I’ve been watching for about an hour and a half on TV with no graphical load (1080p set, not 4K). I’m testing whether the issue improves or disappears entirely. I should have a clearer answer in about two to three hours.

It took a bit longer than expected, but everything worked fine on the second monitor. No black screen or audio issues—just smooth operation. Back to watching TV and it’s back to normal.
