I’m facing difficulties with my dual monitor configuration. Over the past few weeks, I’ve tried various fixes but none resolved the issue. My setup includes an Asus 27-inch VP28U 4K at 60Hz and a Viotek 32-inch GN32DA QuadHD at 144Hz. I own a Lenovo X1 Yoga Generation 5 with Intel UHD graphics and a docking station that supports two DisplayPort connections. The main problem is that I can’t run both monitors at their ideal refresh rates simultaneously, and the resolution drops when I try. After checking display settings, adapter properties, and even updating drivers, no changes seem to help. The cable I use is standard 1.2, and when I connect only one monitor at a time, it behaves differently—allowing full resolution and refresh on one while limiting the other. I’m unsure if there’s a specific setting or cable type that would solve this, and I’m hesitant to invest more if it doesn’t work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
