Hi! I hope someone can assist me. I tried connecting a second monitor via HDMI and noticed my games were lagging at 20fps, so I removed it from my PC to check if that would help. However, my main monitor is behaving strangely now. My browser and YouTube videos are also becoming very choppy suddenly, even after removing the second monitor. When I open my browser in non-full-screen mode it stops the choppiness, but when I switch to full screen it returns. I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, changing the power cable, and switching display cables. Thanks for reading, any advice would be greatly appreciated. OS - Windows 11 | Age of System - 6 months | OS Installed - 6 months | CPU - Ryzen 5 7600 | Graphics - AMD 6750xt Speedster QICK 319 | Motherboard - MSI B650 Gaming+ Wi-Fi Power Supply | Corsair RM650 Desktop Monitor on and off.mp4

It seems like the connection might be faulty. Consider using a different DP cable.

The screen only shows flickering when running games, but not in your browser. I also noticed that enabling graphics acceleration in your browser eliminated the choppiness, even though this setting wasn’t active before.

Thanks for the assistance. It's strange that I just ended my background apps without thinking and my FPS returned to normal. I focused on Discord being the main issue, and after reinstalling it, the problem seems to be resolved. I might still need a new cable since I can't run my browser in the background while games are open, but it seems to work now. Appreciate your reply and any explanation you can provide.

It's a valid concern if everything behaves similarly. It might be that Discord was trying to distract you from the main task. I've witnessed unusual occurrences, but nothing quite like this where an app attempts to dominate the screen alone. It's odd. I'm relieved it's fixed. You might want to check your HDMI connection as a next step. If the problem persists, it could indicate another software issue.
