I assembled a new computer yesterday. Once it powered up, I received a beep—specifically one long followed by three short sounds. The fans were running and the GPU was functioning properly, but there was no display output. After reinserting the RAM, the same problem persisted regardless of which slots I used. I also reattached the GPU, yet the error continued.

Check if your graphics card uses a 6 or 8 pin connector for external power.

Long explanation: A GPU problem often shows up as long and three sentences pointing to a power issue, like not plugging it in correctly. Even if it seems connected, verify the setup.
Quick tip: Cables with 6+2 pins can be tricky to secure, so confirm everything is properly attached.
Essence: Check connections and power first; simple fixes usually work.

I'll check it, the GPU turns on but no display out. The cable appears to be in properly.

Check if your CPU supports display output without a dedicated GPU. If yes, attempt to disable the graphics card and see if it works. If not, it’s possible you have another card nearby—could be a different model or a hidden one. Let me know which GPU you’re using for clarity.

The processor needs separate graphics cards. I don’t have an additional one.
