Display Issues with Dual Monitors at High Resolution Connectivity Challenges on 4K and 1080p Screens
I have an ASUS Zephyrus M16 (2021, Windows 10) with a RTX 3060 Mobile card. I use two external monitors: ASUS VG279 and LG UltraGear. The LG is connected via DisplayPort through a USB-C adapter in the Thunderbolt port, while the ASUS monitor uses an HDMI cable over another USB-C adapter. Initially everything worked, but now only one display functions properly. The 4K monitor isn’t running at its full refresh rate. I suspect the issue stems from the LG being connected to Intel UHD graphics instead of the RTX 3060 (confirmed in settings). I don’t recall exactly what I did, but now only one screen works at a time and I can’t restore the previous setup with both displays active and the LG at 60Hz. Even the LG 4K display isn’t reaching its full 144Hz when it’s the sole monitor. How can I fix this? Is there a settings option to force the displays to use the RTX 3060? Can I bring everything back to working, including all three screens (laptop and two monitors)? Might a docking station help me run both monitors at full refresh rates?
