Check the cable and attempt once more. If Gsync functions correctly, there should be no interruptions. Review the monitor's settings—does it indicate Gsync is activated as well?

It seems V-sync is being swapped for G-sync. Are you combining G-sync with a frame rate limiter like FPS capper?
