Hi,
I’ve recently upgraded my motherboard and CPU to AM5, paired with a new SSD, but I’m facing some boot-up problems. For about 20 to 30 seconds, the primary monitor at 240Hz freezes to 60Hz, and the second 60Hz HDMI monitor fails to appear. Once the delay ends, both monitors turn on, flash, play a driver sound, and adjust to the right refresh rate. Any suggestions would be helpful (this wasn’t an issue before these changes).

GPU: NVIDIA 4070
CPU: AMD 9800X3D
Motherboard: MSI B650 Gaming Plus WIFI
New SSD: WD Black SN770 500GB SSD M.2 2280

Did you just set up Windows? Are the chipset and GPU drivers current? Has the motherboard's BIOS been updated?

Windows was reactivated without needing a reinstall.
Chipset and GPU drivers are both current.
I plan to update the BIOS now; this is my first time doing it.
Thank you

the BIOS update didn't resolve the problem, so I'm hesitant to reinstall Windows because I don't want to restart everything. I was expecting a clear solution I hadn't noticed, but the issue isn't too bothersome.

check the device manager for exclamation or question marks
reinstall the gpu driver using a custom install with the "clean install" option
watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJReC-VvFXQ
uninstall all cpus in the device manager and restart, automatic reinstall should follow
may encounter other problems since windows wasn't installed on this fresh system
such as lags, reduced performance, freezes, or shutdowns
