I assembled my initial computer about five days back. I connected every component and everything functioned properly. I installed Windows 10, added the standard software (Discord, Steam, games, Chrome, etc.). I left it for an afternoon to run GTA V because my internet connection was weak and it would take roughly 10-12 hours to boot up. It wouldn’t power on at all. The display didn’t appear. I tested multiple monitors, various cables (DVI, VGA, DP, HDMI), but nothing worked. After reseating the GPU and plugging everything back in, I reconfigured the CPU and cooler, installed a new PSU, swapped out the GPU, used two different monitors, changed cables, and cleared CMOS.
I’m genuinely considering the CPU as the issue since it got quite hot during short gameplay sessions, even though there was ample airflow and thermal paste. When I power it on, I see the CPU and DRAM LEDs flash briefly before shutting down, but all fans spin and the GPU stays active, or the CPU LED stays lit while nothing displays.
Here’s a summary of my components:
- MSI B550A PRO AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
- Kingston FURY 2x8GB 3200MHz Stock cooler
- New PSU
- New GPU
- Two different monitors
- Various cables
- CMOS cleared

Confirmed all connections in the case. Noticed the 4/8-pin cable on the upper left side of the board was slightly loose, leading to a power issue for the GPU while other components remained functional.
