I was working on my computer for a short time, then everything stopped suddenly. The screen went dark and the music stopped. Checking the PC showed it was only partially powered off. Turning the power button on makes the fans spin, RAM and motherboard lights come on, but the CPU fan isn’t moving, no peripherals activate, and the GPU doesn’t light up with any display output. None of the status lights are working. Here’s the list of components. Any advice or help would be really useful. The build is only two weeks old, and I haven’t experienced power problems since then. MOBO: ASUS ROG STRIX B-550A CPU: 5600x (with stock cooler) GPU: Gigabyte 3070TI Vision 8GB OC RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance Pro PSU: Corsair RMX 2021 1000W

Two points to note. Shut down and unplug everything, then reinsert your GPU, RAM, and cables. If this doesn’t help, there appears to be a recent surge of problems with Corsair RAM paired to Ryzen chips. Verify your findings by searching “Corsair RAM Ryzen crash.” Additionally, I realized I missed a protective cover for my 3060ti’s expansion slot when assembling. It was sticking together in the cage, forcing the card out, which likely caused it to protrude. It seems resolved now, though it might have strained your HDMI port. The outcome will be clear over time. Edited June 20, 2022 by An0maly_76 Updated with more details

Consider clearing the CMOS for a fresh setup.
