Display functioning at reduced pace
My HP Zbook 17 G6 comes with a Quadro RTX 4000 card, and I recently found it benchmarking below expectations. I've tried all possible fixes but haven't succeeded. I'm skipping the steps I previously attempted before reinstalling Windows. After a fresh install of Windows and Nvidia drivers, the performance improved noticeably. Once I achieved a solid score, I ran HP DreamColor Assistant again, but it still didn’t meet expectations. It seems the card might not be connected properly. I also tried OCCT 3D Adaptive Extreme multiple times, encountering an error code 36 times within two minutes. After cleaning the GPU and reseating it, no improvement occurred. I reset the BIOS to its original settings, reinstalled Windows without internet access to ensure a clean driver setup, but still faced issues. Updating the BIOS didn’t help. Installing the "Leading-edge" driver also didn’t resolve the problem. I’ve tested the CPU extensively and confirmed it’s functioning correctly. This situation likely followed my initial Windows reinstall.
