The setup consistently boots from shutdown with a VGA debug light, though it disappears after a restart and reappears after shutdowns. CMOS cleared and BIOS updated, other GPUs tested but issue persists. RAM and power components appear functional. Others have shared similar experiences—no major concerns if system remains stable overall.
i lack much familiarity with amd but i faced a comparable issue with an intel setup a few years back. it seemed like gpu and pcie socket problems, similar to what happened with my previous intel system. i adjusted the fsb down to 42 mhz which resolved the issue, though i experienced stability concerns in the other case.
Join the discussions! It might be the CPU has only slightly too much pressure on its mount. Have you attempted to re-seat and reattach it?

Lacking QVL RAM on the motherboard shouldn't affect the Ethernet connection. In fact, I'd just install a network card and continue. This happened to my first server and gaming setup during a power line maintenance, which also damaged my boot drive.
