I'm trying to connect my HP Deskjet 3050 printer to my Windows 8 gaming rig. It works fine on my Windows 7 laptop, but printing fails on the PC. I can use the scanner, but the error message says Print Spooler isn't running. I've attempted to start Print Spooler multiple times for three hours without success. See related images for reference.
