Hi everyone, My computer has been experiencing random visual issues where the screen goes black while audio and input devices remain functional. This happens during gaming, casual YouTube watching, and even when browsing Amazon. I've tried switching cables between my GPU and monitor, using HDMI over DisplayPort, but nothing resolved it. It seems to be related to my Zotac 3080 AMP Halo GPU. I'm wondering if there are other steps I can take before considering a repair. Do you have any crash logs or signs of GPU failure that could help? Also, the shipping cost for a replacement card would be around $300+, so it might not be worth it unless necessary. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Consider it a driver or hardware problem. Begin by using the Display Driver uninstaller to remove all existing drivers. Don’t forget to install the latest chipset drivers and check for updated mainboard BIOS. These steps are recommended before returning the card for repair. If you have another system, try testing the card there while also cleaning up old drivers with DDU and updating the chipset and BIOS.
