The screen remains black after reinstalling the CMOS. The GPU was already disconnected. When I clear the CMOS, it shows a deep fried green flash before going black again. I plan to replace the battery later if possible. If that fails, the BIOS might be damaged.

What components were used? Waiting time varied, often minutes after a clean boot on newer hardware.

Lenovo IH61M I3 2120 Gtx 1060 with 2x 4GB DDR3 RAM was left running for two hours. It’s clearly not a brand-new setup.
