I'm facing a puzzling issue. My PC functions normally, the OS starts without issues, but I can't reach the UEFI BIOS options. When I power on, the ASUS splash appears and prompts for F2 or Del to enter BIOS. If I press those keys, the screen turns black permanently. But removing all SATA drives lets me access BIOS without problems. I can't alter the boot sequence, which was essential in BIOS. My attempts: resetting CMOS with a jumper, leaving the battery out for five minutes, trying any drive combination, connecting the monitor through the motherboard port (possibly fixing a GPU handshake), and using the Sandisk SSD. The system specs are listed, but I need guidance on resolving this access issue.
They aren't being recognized even though the advanced SATA hotplug feature is active. I also see the "Favorites" area in the BIOS remains filled, which seems unexpected after the changes I made. Maybe my knowledge stops here.
I repeated the process. Initially, I shifted the CMOS jumper from the active to reset slot for about 20 seconds (the manual suggests 5-10 seconds), then returned it to its normal position. Next, I removed the battery and performed the jumper again, following the instructions to reset the CMOS RTC RAM data. After reconnecting the power cable and turning it on, the screen displayed a prompt to press F1 for BIOS setup and then a black screen.
