I assembled a new PC to replace the one I used for more than five years. Some components were still in use while upgrading my gaming/streaming machine. I purchased a fresh motherboard and a new case. My old HDD, which also started Windows on, is where the system boots. It took me around two hours to complete the build, but I faced an bothersome problem. Every few hours the TV goes black, though sound remains and pausing videos works. I still maintain control, but visibility is missing. The screen restores when I detach the HDMI cable from my graphics card and reconnect it, but this process is time-consuming. I updated the motherboard’s BIOS, removed and reinstalled the graphics card drivers, even tried a different card, yet the issue persists. I’ve looked at other videos that might help, but after an hour—or longer in some cases—it still fades. My PC specs: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X, 8-core processor at 3.70 GHz, ASUS Prime B550-Plus motherboard, ROG GeForce RTX 2060 with 6GB GDDR6, 650W RGB Thermaltake case, 1TB HDD. I’m not overclocking and recently discovered my CPU and motherboard aren’t compatible even after BIOS updates. I’m running out of options; any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I previously used an HDMI cable and then visited Canada Computers, purchasing a different one. Despite being an HDMI 2.1, the issue remains unresolved.

The most likely solution is adjusting the HDMI port on your TV. If that doesn’t resolve the issue, consider testing with a different monitor or TV.

I've already changed to all the other HDMI connections on my TV. The issue keeps happening, actually. It only began after I disassembled my old PC and assembled my new one. I don’t have another monitor or TV to test it on.

I'm not completely sure about the situation, but I think it might have been caused by adjusting the TV a bit.

The issue stemmed from a faulty HDMI port and cable. Try reconnecting the power connector on your TV.
