Display a black screen on Windows.
You notice normal operation until the Windows login screen appears black. Restart attempts failed, but BIOS and Windows repair tools appear. Safe mode boots work, though visuals remain limited. Shortcuts like the project panel and accessibility features function, but the cursor stays invisible. Previously resolved by connecting a monitor; this time it didn’t work. Have you tried further troubleshooting steps?
Typically a magnet is positioned at the top of the display. When you bring it closer, it links with another component and switches off the screen. If you power on the laptop while the main screen is off, it connects to an HDMI display and lets you use that one as your primary monitor, such as for accessing BIOS.
With the Win+P window you accessed, chose Monitor to PC Only or Duplicate. This should make it rely on the built-in display since it appears your system is set to Extended with the primary location elsewhere.
I checked every available setting, but neither screen displays anything.
Verify this happens prior to logging in. Assuming a password is required, if you enter it or your system auto-logs in, press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager, then execute explorer.exe.
Task manager doesn't show up, and I have no way to tell if I managed to log in or not
