You're experiencing intermittent issues where your PC boots into Windows but the screen goes black unexpectedly. You've already tried reinstalling drivers and the operating system, yet the problem persists. The power button light appears occasionally, but there are no debug LEDs on the motherboard. Your hardware specs are detailed, which might help in diagnosing further.

I'm using a display device connected via a standard HDMI or VGA port.

Have you explored another display setting? Also, does the mainboard include any graphics connections, and do they function when the GPU is inactive?

I have an HDMI port on my motherboard but my CPU is an i5 12400f, so I’m not sure it will display anything on the screen. The only feedback I get during this problem is audio from Windows booting up, and I also tried opening Spotify to see if it’s actually playing, but the screen stays black and my monitor doesn’t pick up any signal. The power button flashes when it happens, then stays solid white otherwise. Another thing I notice is it usually happens after I restart my PC—especially when Valorant gets an update, which requires a system reboot.

Check for any startup prompts or settings that let you access BIOS before powering on.

I recently tested it using HDMI on both the motherboard and the GPU, but neither responded. I also tried reinstalling RAM sticks, the GPU, and all power connectors, yet there was no improvement.

I had installed SpaceDesk on my PC and attempted to use my phone as a secondary display. It connected, and I immediately opened Device Manager. Here are the screenshots.

I suspect there might be a hardware problem. Do you have an extra GPU available or can you request one temporarily?
