When im using both monitors 4k@144hz using 3080 ti (Asus) during games it will randomly start to go black for like 2 seconds and then display again. especially when i change focus of the an application to another one but also happens when i dont randomly specs i9-12900K asus 3080 ti g.skill ddr5 6000 when lowering to one screen 144 and the other to 60 it doesnt seem to happen so far. is this something known? i haven't heard it not being possible to run dual4k 144hz monitors btw both attached directly to the gpu with DP cable

When the app and Windows display options differ, it's typical during resolution or settings changes.

both run at 4k 144hz and the software also supports 4k. I'm not concerned about switching to exclusive fullscreen or changing resolutions. It occurs unpredictably, sometimes more frequently than others, regardless of app switching or not. Occasionally it freezes for about 10 seconds, reducing one monitor to 60hz while keeping the other at 4k. This seems to indicate the GPU struggles with two 4k displays simultaneously. I've tested with new cables and good DP cables, but it still happens. The issue isn't confirmed by others, so it's not supported here. A video is available for viewing the behavior. Which monitor gets dimmed is also random.
