Over the past few months my hard drive has been constantly full. At first I thought the LED wouldn’t switch off during use, but it didn’t affect performance much. Now my computer is completely broken—opening programs like Davinci Resolve takes about 10 minutes and scrolling through time lines freezes for a second. Devil may cry 5 loads three times slower than usual. When I check Task Manager, I see this issue. I’m not sure what’s causing it to stay this way all the time. Thanks for your help.

It seems Avast was misusing personal information and selling it. I highly suggest removing it. Delete the software, install Malwarebytes, and perform a scan.

Could also stem from the various applications running on the operating system. You might have just one SSD, yet everything seems to load all at once. This issue occurs on my second PC when downloading games on Steam, and the writing process to the SSD becomes extremely slow.
