Disk Format Auto Selects F for Letter
Disk Format Auto Selects F for Letter
When formatting a drive in Disk Management and selecting a letter such as Q or S, the settings automatically open a window. This behavior can be stopped by adjusting your preferences.
It's typical when you already have three partitions (drives: C, D, E) on your PC.
You can easily rename drive letters after formatting them using Windows Disk Management.
But keep in mind, drive letters may shift as drives are connected or disconnected from the computer.
